Heartland Food Network — Heartland Food Network Online Marketplace

The Heartland Food Network Online Marketplace is a new and innovative online site that allows Heartland Food Network members to connect and buy and sell local products. Use of this tool is free with your annual membership to Heartland Food Network.

For non members, a fee of $15.95/month applies for use of this service.

For Chefs:

• Search for ingredients based on specifics such as growing standards, place of origin or distribution method
  
• Plan seasonal menus by finding local products that are and will be available in the future

For Farmers:

• Connect directly to chefs and food service establishments that have made a commitment to use local ingredients and support local producers.
• List local products that are currently available and that are expected to be available in the future.

For Distributors:

• Connect to chefs and food service establishments that want local foods
• Find local ingredients from farmers who are interested in selling their products through a distributor
• Highlight your commitment to local foods: list the local foods that you carry
